I hated him! He didn't know how to teach things on a science 102 level. He didn't explain anything! He just expects you to remember everything from high school chem. Don't bother asking him questions just ask his wife. Even though its very hard to understand what he teaches, like 60% of your grade is from showing up to class and doing the labs.

Terrible teacher. He was so hard and confusing. Brought his wife in and she had to keep him on track. He was very rude and if you asked a question he looked confounded that you would even ask that.

crazy chem lab teacher, very disorganized, took him three weeks to realize that kids were still wearing flip flops. He may yell during lab, but he goes back to being nice in like a second. Pretty nice guy, I'd take him again

He definately knows his stuff, that's for sure. However, he has trouble simplifying the material to a beginner level. Tests are very very hard even if you spend hours upon hours preparing. Class averages are in the 60's but he curves at the end. He's definately willing to help you out though. If you can avoid taking him, that might be a good idea.

Terrible at teaching. Claims during exams that "If you don't understand it now, you probably never will so just give up." No patience and talks like he is above everyone. AVOID TAKING HIM!

Worst experience I've ever had. Does not clarify material and does not help in office hours, says he doesn't have time. Stay away from him, go to Barth for help.

hard as hell. He is not paitent and expects you to know everything. He does not help you in lab but rather just yell at you for not understanding the material that you were never taught, and he explains everything in terms of sports or plumbing.

I was a student between '93-'97. Dr. Falcone is one of the nicest, sincerest, and knowledgeable teachers at WCU. I had several classes with him...and although the classes were tough, I learned a lot from him. I am now a high school Chem teacher and credit much of my success to Dr. Falcone.

Dr. Falcone may not be very clear, but if you actually take time and read/study, you'll fair well. Not a walk in the park, just do your work and you'll be fine.
