Dr. Norrie is an amazing prof. He doesn't use a dry textbook to teach this course. He uses creative and involved examples of IT related legal issues and keeps the class engaged by involving them in these examples. His TA does the marking but she's fair. He's a very approachable and accommodating prof. I would def rec. taking a class w/ him.

I took a Project Management course with him. The most arrogant person I've ever met. Extremally entertaining but upon further examination - quite superficial coverage of topic. Provokes debates for the sake of showing off. Very disrespectful. If your idea of learning stops at having fun and being entertained - he's your prof.

Everything I know about this man is his goal of making himself look good in the university, and in the press. This reflects in his behaviour is class, which is "look at me and see how wonderful I am". Should be Director of the School be teaching the EASIEST course. I think that is so telling. Does he teach any course on the technology?

He is 1 of my top 3 fav. prof at Ryerson. He is not easy (like in D'sD) and makes great jokes(and maybe insults in a good way) in class -overall you learn alot in creative ways.. its hard to be bored -i love his examples/cases for everything! If someone doesnt like this class..it just means they missed all of them. I wish he teaches more classses!!

I don't know what the last guy was smoking when he wrote his comment, but he is way off basis. James Norrie is probably the best prof in ITM. If they would let him teach every course I wouldn't miss a day of school and I would do soo well. If you want to enjoy a class take it with Norrie.
