His classes are great. Yeah, his tests are not "easy", but any good prof won't have easy tests. He expects you to study, which you should do because you are paying for the class. He is more than willing to go above and beyond for his students, and that makes him stand out! He's smart, he works hard, and we all could learn a thing or two from him.

He's not real easy, but he wants everyone to do well, and will teach fair. He's very smart but has a hard time putting all his knowledge into the proper channel for 100 level students to understand. Overall, I wouldn't mind having him again.

What an absolute flake. None of the hokey-pokey crap I learned in James' classes was ever used again. He even takes 'real' classes like abnormal and turns them into mush. If you're a psych major, stay away.

In abnormal psyc he's awesome, and the info is very interesting. James can be a bit overbearing, but it's just because he's a highly educated guy. He researches day and night, so don't plan on debating him. He knows his stuff, and his tests are easy. Suck it up. Welcome to university!

Too much jargon, expects you to know terms that have nothing to do with psychology. Too philosophical.
