This is a very easy class. He assigns an individual presentation, and a big presentation at the end of the semester. At the end, you do a group presentation. You go up in front of the class and just read what you researched. There are two exams. Do the study guides and study it. The exams are an easy A! In fall 2016, is his last time he will teach.

Sickest class ever. Never show up, don't get the text books required, or fall asleep in class and guess what? You still pass! He has 1 midterm & 1 final (just google the study guide questions). Also, 1 two minute presentation from your seat & 1 group presentation, all on food. Easy as pie!

Great Professor, had him for three classes in one term. classes were interesting and fun. I got all A's thanks to Payne. Definitely recommend him for all his classes. Classes were not hard, go to class, take notes, do the study guide and you will do fine.

Dr. Payne is a lot of fun! Very nice man,easy A for sure and funny. This class can get a little boring but you do not have to attend everyday to still get an A but he doesn't write good notes on the board, and there are 2-3 presentations so dont take him for more then one class unless you dont mind. HIGHLY recomment taking him!!

Interesting guy. Very open and honest. Extremely helpful. Only work we did was individual articles from the textbook, read several novels out of class, write two papers, one of which is a long research report about an ethnic topic, and give an extremely short presentation in class on our topic. Other than this, attend class, and it's easy!

This class was really interesting and easy. There's a few presentations and a paper at the end, but otherwise it's really easy. His tests come straight from the study guide questions and they take about 5 minutes to finish. However, he's really hard to contact. He never returned my phone calls and only responded to one email out of about 4-5.

I can't believe how much I learned. He is so great. Take him!!! He is EXTREMELY funny and makes learning the material a blast. Yet, you learn a suprising amount. I'm taking him again for another class. I can't wait! p.s.-he has an awesome beard.

Dr Payne is a very cool cat! The man has done alot and has alot of interesting stories. His tests are very easy, and he uses alot of humor in his class. He makes it relaxing so you get more out of the class. Enjoy!
