ive taken all his offered courses and even some independents with him. he is an amazing professor but works off the "learn from your mistakes" type teaching. one on one hes got some amazing insight into art and can read your work like its a book. great drawer and can really talk...a lot but its all good stuff if you can follow his thought process.

Is it just me, or does this professor remind anyone else of George Carlin? I think he is hilarious and extremely interesting so I don't mind when he talks a lot. However a 3 hour class is too long for me to sit through. They need to get new stools in the art dept... maybe cushioned...

Not a bad professor. Knows what he's doing, very easy, doesn't penalize you if you skip class, etc. He does talk an *awful* lot, though. If you can engage yourself in the conversation it's not so bad.

He talked for 2 hours and 45 minutes of a 3 hour class. And he doesn't teach. All I learned was how to draw an egg-shaped face. I wanted to learn how to use pastels, and inks, and other materials like the other drawing profs teach.

One of the nicest professors alive! Very passionate about sharing his life and his work with him students. Appears as though he doesn't care when students miss class but does feel hurt! Very cool, nice awesome guy!
