This course is so boring & badly organised. Quinn's MCs were ambiguous. You really need to make an effort to listen in his class and read the textbook otherwise you will not get a decent grade. He didn't give any practice tests, instead, gave about 100 entirely useless focus points before the midterm/final. DO NOT TAKE.

Great professor! He's very passionate about the environment and REALLY loves birds. He occasionally gets side-tracked talking about a specific bird, and will even start doing their calls during lecture! He's a very engaging and funny professor. I would definitely recommend taking his classes. The workload is light enough if you study decently.

I really don't understand why some ratings are poor for Dr. Quinn. I've never liked bio but I always went to his lectures because he was so enthusiastic about teaching; the bird calls are funny, as are most of his comments. His questions are easy if you've studied and attended class as you should be. Also very kind and approachable after class.

Amazing prof, best bio prof at Mac! Classes are interesting, he gives real life examples and often has a slide show from his own work/places he's travelled. Went to every sing one of his classes. Tests make you think, but are fair. If you know the concepts you will do well. Great great prof!
