Very mediocre. I found his lectures were not helpful and when it came time for the assignment and paper, I read the books assigned and used information from other classes (anthro). I personally found his lectures hard to learn from and I couldn't handle the way he taught. All over the place and very boring. Fell asleep several times.

Dr. Linketter is my favorite prof, hands down. He is so patient and kind, and always willing to help if you don't understand something. He is obviously passionate about what he teaches, and genuinely wants his students to do well. His classes can get a bit boring and repetitive sometimes, but it's well worth it!

Comment:

Very patient and accomodating, accepts late assignments without complaint and is always willing to offer help. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the material. Adorably formal as well, referred to me as "Mr.McDonald". Be warned though - never skip any of his classes. He values participation above all and that could make or break your grade.

Comment:

Nice, fun guy, but it was such a boring class. He just summarized the story we had to read for that day (seldom offering new insights). Unfortunately, he teaches to the slowest person in the class, so if you're quick to grasp the material, you are going to be bored. The class covers interesting material, it's just not taught in an engaging way.

A very engaging and interesting professor, and knows just about EVERYTHING about his topic-- if he doesn't, he will look it up for you. Very approachable and helpful too. He even learns almost all the names of people in his 50 + class!

He absolutely loves this stuff. This class is really interesting, even if it is 3 hours long on a monday night. You dont get bored. He's a really nice guy too, and really helpful if you go see him. Probably my favorite class this year. :) Take it!

Prof. Linkletter really knows the material well. I am very glad I enrolled in his class. The lectures are very interesting and I really love his enthusiasm. I'm not sure if he is a full time professor here at X, but if not he really should be. What an asset he would make to this university. Highly recommend his course to anyone.

He is one of those profs that knows more about his subject than you thought there was to know. The course a lot of work but you learn a lot too. He can give you background on anything you want and he is open to new ideas. His group assignments are fun but he can be sticky on grammer in papers.
