Great teacher! Very nice guy. His tests are based on questions that he hands out in class...so its really easy (if you take the time) to get a good mark. He can answer ANY question. Class can get a bit boring, but if you do the reading its easy to follow along.

Great Prof. Is so interested in students getting the material that he will occasionally be a bit repetive. Gives every question the benifit of the doubt. Seems to never loose patience.

Very kind and helpful. He is very open to discusing discrepancies over marks, and he also willing to clarify anything that he mentions in class ie. Anselm. Overall great prof. I highly recommend taking him for Phil 100

The guy is a great prof. He explains everything perfectly, if u go to all the classes, you will kill the quizes and exams. Not going to classes really hurts you cuz he givs random quizes worth 20% but its easy to predict when he'll give the quiz. Exams r a joke jus gotta be prepares. Saad Baig

Exams are super easy, and he explains things well. Do the reading questions and youre fine. Hes good about rescheduling things or letting you re-do quizzes.

I wish he was my grandfather. This guy is awesome; his class is very straightforward and easy if you do (most of) the readings and remember that while you can change the questions on tests, you can never really change the answers - the core principles remain.

The only thing more obvious than the deficiencies of the material he preaches is the onset of senility in this man.

What an incredibly clear into to logic - pick him over Ashworth if you can. Very nice and approachable, with a real interest in the success of the student. I'm looking forward to intermediate logic with him.

It was the first class I have ever fallen asleep in. His voice made me so tired. He would explain the same thing 30 different times in only 2 or 3 different ways. The TA's sucked! They're just bitter becuase they payed for school for 4+ years and only got a degree in philosophy.

The best prof ever, though some of the material is difficult to grasp, he finds a way to make you understand. Tests and exams are very easy, hands out exam questions after each lecture, as long as you answer the questions, you will ace the exams.

Not easy to make some of Plato's works understandable, but he managed, amazingly. Gives out questions for each reading out of which he builds his exams. Attend class (and the review) and the exams couldn't be easier.
