Comment:

He's extremely bright and really enjoys what he teaches. More than willing to help student achieve and is fair. He's a difficult professor, but you learn so much in that class. With that being said, a background in math would help with some calculations. I found recording his lectures very beneficial, as his slides are mainly pictures and charts.

Comment:

He explains concepts well, and devotes a lot of his time to his students. He created charts for the midterm marks, and readjusted the midterm to benefit the entire class. He is funny, and keeps your attention. Loved his teaching. He came in on the weekend to have a review session where he answered all questions.

Loves what he does and it very clear. Holds review sessions before finals and wants to make sure you understand every detail. not the hardest final I've written before, but the hardest final I've had so far in geo. The below is right, you need to know details. He's quite funny and a joy to be around. One of those profs who is easy to talk to.

I thought he was overall a pretty good teacher. I felt for this class (weather) he left all the interesting topics to the end and barely talked about them. His tests are fair (but long), although, you need to know pretty much every single definition, term and diagram. I wouldn't recommend this class unless you have some sort of background in Math.

This guy is a GOD!!! He knows so much about anisotropy it makes me weep.I wish I could directly measure his surface temperature. But alas I can only do it remotely. Thank god for that SUM model (in press). It sure helped out.
