while being very helpful, she took this class way too seriously... i usually make an A in my classes and made it out with a B-. the only good thing about her class is that she gives some extra credit and attendance isnt mandatory. tests are VERY hard and online quizzes take hours....ridiculous.

She is a very nice woman and is passionate about her subject. Tests are very very weird and do not reflect what she teaches in class. Nice person but if I would do it again I would ask her what I need to know to do better in class because she is unclear what she wants. I got a B barely but shes a fair teacher.

I took this class online, and though the material was easy, there was SO much material to cover. Quizzes were from the textbook, and the tests were from recorded lectures. The recorded lectures averaged about 7 hours per segment, with three segments in the course. If you have nothing else to do, take this class, but it is a LOT of work.

LOVEEEEEEEEE HERRR! Easy A. Quizzes were straight from the notes. You have to write four papers, but soo easy. I did them last minute and still recieved an A. Only four homework assignments throughout the semester. My favorite class, for sure, and she kept everyone interested.

AWESOME! very passionate about anthropology. Makes class a ton of fun and extremely interesting. Such an awesome teacher that I recently switched my major to ANTH-Archaeology. She is a must take if you are at all interested in ANTH.

I took her online course during the 2nd summer session. Had 6 quizzes that were 20 questions each and due by the last day of class. Unlimited time for them.A 1 page assignment due every week by Thursday night.Final was hard but overall easy class if you get your work done on time. Take her for this class!

Professor Leibowitz makes her class fun and interesting. I am really enjoying being able to chat with students from other cultures around the world! There is no textbook but there are culturgrams ($16) which is a heck of a lot better. She never gives tests but her online quizzes are a pain if you don't take notes.

Perhaps one of the most enjoyable classes that you can take at ECU. General Anthropology is a very mellow class with spontaneous humor as you chat with foreign classes. I left this class with several pen pals. Her assignments are fairly straightforward and the tests often have an element of randomness but are relatively painless. Awesome teacher

she is awesomely good at teaching! she's really nice and lenient, and loves to tell funny/interesting stories to help you understand the material. there is minimal reading involved in the class (only her online quizzes are from the book), and her exams are easy. my lowest grade in there was a 90!

She is an excellent professor. The class material is boring and she makes it interesting. She has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to make a fool out of herself. She is very willing to work with the students and if you need help she is there. She also makes the effort to learn everyone's name.
