I've always hated math and wasn't too good at it but this professor made math less of a pain. She goes over every single problem with us and is very nice and friendly. The book is too confusing for me but she makes it easy for us to understand. Best math teacher i've ever had in my entire schooling career!!!! Just go to class.

SHE IS THE BEST! Gets straight to the point and dumbs things down to make it easier to understand. Goes over every step in how to solve a problem. Allows front/back page of notes on all exams except final. Study guide is very similar to final. Go to lecture, otherwise it'll be hard to teach yourself. I suck at math but got an A in her class.

She is a good teacher. Lectures are boring but its math. She allows a full page of notes front and back on her tests. Just do the homework and homework packet and go to class you will easily finish with a B.

I like this teacher very much, she always take time to instruct me after class when I needed each tutoring-very good person as well. I do not have much time to work on class, as I'm an older student, but I am very happy I had her and now I pass class with okay grade and now can graduate soon. Thank you Professor Leinss-Doyle

many students in my class struggled because of the level of difficulty in her class. she would include easier questions on homework packet and online than on the test. ridiculous to get a c in a class that should be an easy a or b

I took her math 124 class and she is a very helpful teacher that will always show you how to do things if you are wrong. Make sure to do the extra credit homework because there are only a few grades and only a chapter test and with a take home math packet each chapter. But I also think she really likes math, which helped me as a student.

she is really sweet, also funny. she would make jokes about us all loving math and she always had a secret way to throw humor into the class. She really loves math, never canceled class. homework is counted only if answers are right. Seriously one of the nicest teachers, always let me take test longer if I needed. if you struggle in math take her!

Leinss is such a great teacher! She is thorough with all her lessons. She does not leave anything out and she explains everything step by step. I would recommend her 100%. As long as you come to every class and ask questions when you are confused you will for sure pass.

She is a very helpful teacher always willing to show you how to do things if you are confused. The homework is not graded and she doesnt ask to see it ever. There arent too many grades only a chapter test and homework packet per chapter. He lectures are very long and drawn out and can become very boring, she is very monotone.

She is very helpful & thorough when explaining everything. Attendance is mandatory. Will grade homework before it's due so you can redo it. Allows a cheat sheet for tests. She is monotone & moves slowly through material so class can feel longboring. I would absolutely take her again if she taught my other math classes

She is very nice/helpful! I don't understand the other comments. Almost everyone pays attention in her class. She is interested in what she teaches. Even though the class is pretty long, for someone who has a hard time paying attention after about 30-1 hour like me, the time flies. You will get a good grade if you take notes and pay attention!

Ms.Leinss always helped me with my math problems from clas and the class HW was from her handouts and you have to fellow her directions for the tests to get a good grade, but she is very helpful and will help you if you ask her and go to the math lab.

Professor Leiness really is a very good professor at Harper. when I took my college math class, I really don't know what to expect, as I'm not good at math, but she took her time to help answer my questions and was helpful after I didn't do well on a homework assignment. She is also very nice person, would take her again.

She has a monotone and drags out her words. She has a very dry personality which prevents her from engaging the classroom. She would briefly explain a topic that someone was struggling with, then rapidly move on before the person had a chance to follow up with more questions pertaining to the topic.
