I had absolutely no interest in taking this class, but really came to enjoy diagramming sentences and linguistics in general. Dr. Tillery is one of the sweetest and most helpful professors I've come across at UTSA, and she really encourages her students to do their best.

Even though the content of the class was a bit confusing, she was VERY helpful. Also a very understanding teacher who will go out of her way to help you if you have any questions. She helped me a lot this semester and I appreciated it a LOT. She's a great professor!

I transferred to UTSA as a junior and very nervous about the transition from a junior college to university level and Dr Tillery completely took that away she does help on test if you are trying show her that you care about the class and you will definatley ACE this class.

By far, it is simply a joy to come to this woman's class. Pay attention and ask questions, she is willing, willing, willing to help you. She helps you during the tests. Yes, she helps you during tests. Any student who says they didn't like this professor should be dragged out in the street and shot.
