When I took this class recently, there was no paper requirement. Two paperbacks, a documentary are the assignments. Three discussion boards and three exams. A great way to spend the winter break! Easy, slow paced and really interesting! TAKE THIS CLASS!

Dr. N. has structured this online class during the winter session to be easily accessed and mastered. It's a fast and easy A if you watch the powerpoints. She puts a lot of work into them, and nearly all of the exam questions come from those powerpoints - which you can watch over and over. And the exams are "open book". Best class ever!

Dr. N is such an amazing professor! Don't miss the opportunity to take her classes, for they are truly thought-provoking and engaging. As a teacher, she just exudes knowledge, enthusiasm, and a love for teaching procedural law! If you are not already planning to become a lawyer, you may very well be after having her. She is truly an inspiration!

Dr. Nestlerode is far & away the very BEST professor I've ever had! Caring, helpful, kind, brilliant & inspirational! A true gem! She teaches her courses with so much heart & passion, & tells only the most wonderful stories from her ADA days. Take her for any course you can! You'll truly learn a lot from her & enjoy every minute of it. I sure did!

Best class I ever took. I learned more in this class than all of my other college classes together ... and it was all stuff that really mattered. Stuff that I can use beyond college. I was excited, angry and inspired all at the same time. Don't miss this class as she doesn't get to teach it often.

Dr. Nestlerode is extremely helpful and passionate about what she teaches. As long as you attend class and take good notes, you will do well. If there's anything you don't understand, go to her office hours and she's always willing to work with you until you get it. Personally I think she's one of the best professors West Chester University has.

Jana wants students to learn, care, succeed. She has great experience, will give you real world information. She is very respectful. My favorite Professor. She gives a quiz almost every week, gives you a study guide with everything you need. go to class. Notes are important for memory and to get examples not on the guide. did not use the book once

Finishing up this class in order to graduate and I am very lucky to have had Dr. N as a professor. She really knows her stuff and is so passionate about what she teaches. Super helpful if you attend office hours and tests are straight forward. Just go to class, STUDY FOR THE QUIZZES and take good notes. Wish she taught every course.

I took this class over over the Winter semester, on-line. Very interesting subject matter. The expectations are very clear, she is easy to access with questions and quick to respond. Required reading and 2 open book tests, one research paper, 5-10 pages.

I take all her winterim classes. They're awesome. I actually looked forward to the class. I learned things I never knew about. An easy A for me. Just do the readings (no textbook, just a few articles - and its okay to use your laptop during the exams to re-read the articles)and come to class. You can't miss.

Procedures: Dr. Nestlerode is a nice lady, she has really good interesting stories. Her tests are fairly tough and so are the quizzes, but you could probably manage a C if you only study a little. She gave us one easy test and two harder ones. Overall easier than criminal law. Her class is not boring. Shes really busy out of class.

Dr Nestlerode is so thorough in this class, it is no one's fault but your own if you don't do well. She is very clear, helpful, and available if you need help. I don't know what everyone is whining about. This was one of the most interesting and informative classes I took during my undergrad at WCU.

Compromising and helpful. She DOES NOT teach her opinion but does give her opinions at times. A breath of fresh air after the harshness of Kauffman. Class is not hard if you attend class and pay attention. Quizzes on thursdays for her 2 day class. 3 tests including final. A joy to talk to and I feel a great teacher.
