She teaches computer programming but is completely unaware of how to use a god damn computer. We use Java but she doesn't even know how to use Java. She actually just copy and pastes code without explaining anything. Also she made the textbook we use, but it fails to help in the slightest. She talks so slow and ends class really late. Don't take!!

COM 150 or known as Computer Programming introduces you to Java. This professor introduced Java so bad to me I want nothing to do with it anymore. There is no point in showing up to class, she makes you read right out of the textbook and teach yourself. Makes up the exams as she goes, knows nothing about Java, copy and pastes all the code. DONTTAKE

As a COM or CIT major, you will probably have no choice but to take her. So here it goes, she sucks at the teaching thing. All she does is read PP slides. Each chapter contains about 150 slides..&ALL SHE DOES IS READ WORD FOR WORD. Her tests are extensive, but she allows a sheet of notes! Also, she is very condescending, but u will get through it!

RUN!! She teaches a whole bunch of stuff you don't even need to know bc she thinks you're actually interested, and she's wrong about half of the stuff she tries to expand on. Her tests are wicked hard and all on textbook details that she doesn't even talk about in class. Prepare to teach yourself to get through her class

I still don't understand why she is able to teach computer classes. She is very confusing, just reads off of slides which come directly from the book, and her tests are much longer than they should be. The only good thing is that she allows the tests to be open book but we did little programming during class and it's near impossible to get help

If you enjoy having power point slides read to you by a professor whom has no hands on experience this is your dream professor! Avoid this professor if at all possible, she has little to no understanding of the topics she teaches. She keeps you late EVERY class. She will actually discuss personal student/professor matters infront of the entireclass

she is pretty much the only computer science teacher who is weak at programming, a paradox. She knows a lot of material but fails to incorporate proggraming the way a computer science class should. Has a very low hands on practices which is a major blow for the real world.

S. Jane Fritz's entire teaching method consists of reading PowerPoint slides from a projector, repeating the words on the page, and occasionally trying (and failing) to paraphrase when she doesn't understand what it is she's trying to teach. Her tests are overly long and she insists on grading homework as though we're children. Avoid if possible.

DO NOT TAKE HER!!! The school had a virus that prevented us from saving our work, and she gave out 0's for the last two projects because we physically couldnt do the work. I had an A the whole year, and ended with a B- because of that...very unfair teacher!

She loves teaching... a little too much. Always keeps you late, grades all her homeworks, and talks WAY too much. However, she always offers help on her own time and she gets students excellent jobs and internships. Be her friend; she likes responsible and work-oriented students.

By far the worst math teacher made on this planet. Sure she is a computer wiz but if she confuses her self on basic algebra what use are u to a university. If you are forced to take this class avoid her. Take her for a computer science class...NO MATH

Like her as a professor, but don't like the fact that she grades homework. Tests are open book, open notes, and worth more than 100 points so you have the ability to pick and chose the problems you want to answer. Other than grading hw, good professor.

Great Teacher!!! Way too rough on the homework. Dont understand how homework can have as much as an effect on your grade as tests do. Go figure!
