Sworden is an amazing professor. He doesn't use technology, but he doesn't need it as his lectures are engaging. Tests are straightforward and easy as long as you've been to class. Takes the time to get to know students. He also has written the textbook used for Intro to Law so he knows what he's talking about. Such a great guy!

I simply cannot say enough about Professor Phillip Sworden. He truly is an amazing teacher, mentor and overall human being. He is exceptionally approachable and will do anything in his ability in order to accommodate his students. He has inspired me on an insurmountable level and I will never forget the time I spent in his classes.

My fav prof. Attend his classes to pass. I never used the text book. I only kept it because I got him to sign it at the end of the semester. The notes from his lectures were enough to pass with a 97. ALWAYS write down what he indicates is a "good test question". gives you everything you need to pass his tests. wish he taught more in the program.

Awesome teacher. Did not miss a class b/c I loved his lectures. He is thorough & everything he teaches is from the textbook. If you come sit in class and make note of his "Good Test Question", you can easily pass with an A. Questions on tests are clear and assignment is straightforward. Keeps class interesting with his history & knowledge.

Sworden's teaching style is awesome. He wrote the textbook so he teaches straight from it. On his test reviews, he tell you exactly what you need to read, know and study. He makes everything crystal clear and is always glad to help. If you go to his class and do your readings you will pass with flying colours.

Phillip is an amazing Professor. Intro to Law without him would not have been the same. He made the information so crystal clear. You can easily get a 85% or higher if you 1. come to class with the material read 2. pay attention in class 3. come for test review (4) make notes for the test. Wish he taught more in the paralegal program!

Philip Sworden is an amazing teacher who takes the time to help each and every student with their academic needs. He even takes the time to ask how each student is doing and how they are enjoying the course. He is probably one of my favourite teachers. Lots of reading to do as all his lectures come from the book, however, tests are quite easy.
