As a chem major student, I am so glad that meet a good professor in my general chem class. Dr. Ganske is a good professor that she cares about her student, she talks jokes in the class, even she doesn't take attendance, but people usually go to her class and enjoy her class. You will do a good job in her class if you follow her instructions.

Had Dr. Ganske for 2nd sem GChem, PChem, and Chem Lit. Honestly one the best teachers at Pepperdine and REALLY cares about students. If you don't do well in her class, unless you really can't wrap your head around the material, it's because you didn't try. Ask questions and show interest, she knows a ton about environmental and atmospheric chem.

Professor Ganske is a very great teacher. She makes sure that her students understand the material and is very caring. Her tests aren't too bad, and I would argue that some of the homework questions are harder than the test questions. If you have her for Chem120 she is an amazing teacher.

If you are taking her class, congratulations! She is one of my favorite professors at Pepperdine. She really cares about her students. Although sometimes the test is hard and the homework may be a little bit too much, but she is always offering office hours. She will also answer your questions via email VERY detailed and patiently. Great teacher!

Dr. Ganske is one of my favourite professors. Her class is challenging however she is always available to help. Her exams are more difficult than the rest of the Chemistry professors but her teaching is brilliant and she always lets you know what to expect from the class. She also does review sessions which helps for upcoming exams.

Dr. Ganske is by far the best teacher I have ever had. Her class is definitely challenging, but I have never understood chemistry better in my life. Not an easy A, but definitely worth all of the hard work. Participate in class and go to office hours and she will really like you. I do not regret taking this class despite the challenging tests.

I love Dr. Ganske, she is an awesome person and teacher. But, you definitely have to put in at least 9 hours a week to do well. Her tests are the hardests tests of all the chem professors for gen chem.

She is a good professor who really knows a lot about chemistry and loves the subject. Do your homework!! This is coming from someone who scored a 45 (not doing hw) to a 81 (doing hw, more advanced chapter, no additional tutoring...hw is important!!!) on exams. Labs are tough and a ridiculous amount of work for one unit, but that's not her fault.

She is a great teacher and teaches a very engaging course. She is the only chem teacher that actually made me enjoy coming to class. Usually has some sort of engaging demo going on. Likes to use Liquid Nitrogen a lot. The course is difficult, but if you work at it and GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONE you will succeed. It's easy to pass this class with a C.

Yikes. Basically, if she doesn't like you don't bother asking her for help. She's mean if you're not a favorite of hers. Also, you will NOT wing this class. When she says 9 hours of chem a week, she damn well means it. If you are a bio major, the tests will probably eat you alive. Course is fast paced and designed as if everyone was a chem major.

Nice. I took her for both Chem 120 and 121. Her tests for 120 were mostly fairly easy, but on the hard side for 121! Key is to study not just study guides, but also EXAMPLES from class, her notes, and some textbook problems. Her tests are usually about 10 problems for 50 minutes, but they can be done quickly if you know your stuff. GREAT TEACHER!

She's the most difficult but best Chem 120/121 teacher. GO TO OFFICE HOURS, even though she's intimidating. You get on her good side by going to office hours, but come prepared. Its a very hard class but you learn a lot. She gives great study guides, but study everything!

Ganske is awesome. Very dedicated to helping her students, and is an OUTSTANDING lecturer. Couldn't be clearer or more intruiging. Great in-class demonstrations. Tests are tough, so study! Also, be sure to read the textbook chapters. Don't ask for special treatment, but if you have a genuine problem, she will definitely work with you.
