Jane is a wonderful Professor. I sought classes with her name as Prof just to listen to her teach. She is wonderful, insightful and brilliant. Whenever I needed help, she was there to assist me. She didn't have a problem with debate and was very accommodating to her students.

Worst prof ever. Only talks about her personal life during lectures, gives assignments that have nothing to do with the topic (biography of textbook authors, summarizing reviews of the textbook). Despite this her test and exam are based on readings she barely talks about. Do not take this class for fun and avoid this prof at all costs.

I LOVE her!! She's a very sweet woman and I loved taking her class. There was a small group of us and she just taught us all so much and she really gave us the chance to all know each other as well as the course. One of the few university courses I can say I learned a lot from.

DO NOT TAKE A COURSE FROM HER. She was the reason why I lost my scholarship after second year. Talked about how much she hated her husband and gave my group a C because there was a male in our group and didn't like what he had to say. Completely unfair marking - won't let you make observations or have opinions different than hers makes me angry!!!!

She's easy if your a girl. She's helpful if your a girl, and she's interesting if your a girl but what about if you a guy? She doesn't teach sociology, she teaches about her life experiences which are studpid. And oh yeah, she told me at the beggining of the course that I would have a harder time cause I'm a male. :(....Ended up with a B!

She's decent. You don't have to go to class to ace the exam, unless there is a visiting lecturer and she says specifically it will appear somewhere in the future. Likely doesn't actually read the essays so it's easy to BS your way through. Don't really have to show up except to pass in assignments.

I found she may have changed!! She did not talk about her family life much at all, she has interesting ways of presenting her material. Beware of the presentation I should say, make sure you do what she wants!!!! Either then that its a good corurse, marks essays fairly.

Ask me ANYTHING about her mom living in manhattan and comming to visit and them taking a cab to the airport and it costing 50$ and her flight was cancelled so it cost another 50, how about her 80 year old husband,or her son and daughter i know it all!
