Would not reccomend Gosine if you can avoid her. Her courses are very longwinded with no real clear path if where you're headed. No apparent curriculum or goal. Also assigns a LOT of long papers that take up so much time.

An excellent lecturer, and a very sweet person. I highly recommend going to her lectures, as they are interesting and will help prepare you for exams and assignments. While she is a bit strict, she is extremely fair, and more than happy to help if you ask. One of my favourite profs!

Wonderful prof. Very knowledgable, nice and helpful. Pay attention to EVERYTHING she says (even if it is only mentioned once!). Read all notes and study hard but most importantly, don't procrastinate assignments- they're HUGE!

Absolutely brilliant teacher. Very well spoken, intelligent and kind. This teacher would do anything to help you and is a wonderful person. There is no reason to do poorly in this class, as she teaches with such clarity. Congrats on being a nice person,this doesn't seem to happen in music.
