I don't know what these bad reviews are about. she's very nice and yes sometimes she doesn't explain the assignments clearly, but I emailed her once cause I was confused and she sent me an entire page thoroughly explaining. she's very helpful. do just the work and be nice and shell like you. she isn't a mean person she just wants you to do well.

I am probably one of the few students that enjoyed the class. Did everything on time and for every assignment I prepared a full-bodied essay, even if it wasn't required. This helped my writing and the professor was able to see my progress week after week. Went off the syllabus most of the time and I just read a lot. Just don't fall behind.

Prof Harsha is super boring while lecturing and gives so much busy work. That being said, if you do the work and show up to class you'll get an A. She comes off a little condescending and rude during workshops, but just ignore her.

The worst professor I have ever taken. When I chose this class there was no professor assigned, otherwise let me tell you! there is no way i would have subjected myself to this torture. Do not take her if you don't have to is all I have to say. Assigns work at weird hours of the night, overlaps assignments, and is never clear about anything. Avoid!

Absolute awful professor. Post the most random deadlines, is never consistent with assignments or handing back work. Often wastes class time walking students through assignments. I spent 2 classes on how to set up paragraphs. This is college. Not to mention she post work 8 hours before it was due and it expected it to be done. Avoid her at all cost

Literally a horrible professor. I do not advise anyone to take her class. She is not clear on assignments at all. Basically every essay is the same assignment but in a different way. Overlaps all the time, Never returns work or gives grades. Post hw at the last minute on blackboard. Avoid giving yourself a headache and don't take her!

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!! She is absolutely horrible. She overlaps essays and puts homework on blackboard the day before they do at like 1 in the morning. She never gives you a straight answer and always answers your questions with a little laugh and smirk making you feel stupid. She gives pointless assignments and gives way too much work!

DO NOT TAKE ENG 120 WITH THIS PROFESSOR!She is by far the worst English professor that I have ever encountered. She gives way to much work. And the work that she does assign, it's always put on blackboard and she never actually says "the homework is..." and most of the time she doesn't even check the work that you do. You'd think I would know what a paragraph is...She assigns way too much work and I could barely keep up with it!!! Prof.Harsha is a horrible professor and you will regret taking her, she is boring and gives pointless work. But if you do the work you should do decent in the class. She scares you throughout the year because she never gives you a straight answer on what your grade will be. In the end I received a A- which is alright. But I worked hard for it...

Abhor this biz! She generously gives essays that overlap each other; thus, giving no sufficient time to concentrate on a particular assignment because once you're in the middle of one, you have to do another. At first I hated this class, but then I grew to at least appreciate it a little more. She's not THAT bad. Her grading system is weird but I didn't know anyone who did bad in my class. She accepts late homework and papers with no penalty. She's a little dull but I think you can do a lot worse.

I do not recommend. There's no test but gives extremely boring assignments. Theres homework every class and it is a SUBSTANTIAL amount. Shes somewhat of a hard grader and doesnt give ABCorD rather she gives checks and check pluses. Didnt know how I was doing until the final grade. This class is pointless and boring!
