I'm really confused by previous comments because the class I took got out early twice and then it was only by 10 minutes. He THINKS he's hilarious but he was the only one laughing at his jokes and continued to laugh until someone wanted to suck up and laugh along. Tests are unbelievably difficult class averages were always below 73%. WARNING

This guy is incredibly boring!! Since his class was late at night, I had a hard time staying awake. You have to read the book to get a decent grade on your test. If you don't do well there is a make up paper that is really annoying.

wow the guy below me is crazy... Professor Cherian, is a pretty good teacher, and a nice guy. His tests can be really confusing though, and the book can be hard to read. I recommend buying one of the other books he lists on the syllabus, they are much more useful when it comes to test time. I did better than most using the other book.

Really nice guy. Makes each religion come off well - doesn't really show a bias. He says he'll take attendence but this whole semester has only taken it around 7 times. His tests are focused around the book and his powerpoint slides. Just pay attention or look over your notes. He likes to get to know his students - great GenEd.

I LOVE this guy! He is absolutely hysterical, he makes you actually want to go to class. He is very interested and knows so much about everything. He lets you go early every class and says hes going to take attendance but always forgets. The class itself isnt that hard, just study the notes a day or two before and you'll be fine. He's the best!!

Nice man. Class once a week. Thick accent, hard to understand. Goes on a tangent sometimes. Do the study guide while he's talking. Tests come straight off the study guide/power point notes. Doesn't let u get below a C-. If u do, u just write a paper. He'll round up ur final grade. Boring class, boring book. Only slackers/stupid ppl get below a B

Prof Cherian was a good professor, the class was relaxing and easy way to learn about religions. Hes a good guy and will help out alot. All you gotta do is do as he says and read the book/study the study guides he gives you and you will have a pretty strong chance at a B. For those of you who work hard, an A should be no problem either.

Dr. Cherian is great. He knows his class is full of seniors so he makes the class easy and enjoyable. He really wants his students to do well but more importantly he wants them to learn so he provides a lot of useuful information in a simple and straight forward class. Study guides for tests so no one should get lower than a B!

Cherian is a crazy guy. Spends the first 30 minutes of the class laughing non-stop, then spends the next 2 hours mumbling away. Tests aren't too bad, though they tend to concentrate on material not covered in class. The book is interesting, but only touches on religions. Overall, EXTREMELY boring over a two-and-a-half hour period of time.

Dr. Cherian was a great teacher. Super helpful if you go to him during office hours and just do the reading. If you know the chapters really well then you'll be find for his tests, which are all multiple choice. They are fair test and he gives study guides. He is a really funny guy and makes class fun at times.
