I loved taking her classes. If you work hard and know what you're doing, she can really help you get internships and a job. She really knows what she's doing and gives perspective changing advice. I've never had a more important course.

Jane not only allows for creative liberty but allows you to grow into a successful student as long as you are willing to put forth the effort in your work. Her knowledge of the industry shows, and she is always willing to lend a hand. Is genuinely concerned with your success. Overall, one of the best video production professors out there.

Jane Jackson is quite honestly my mentor. She knows what's up and what's down. She's hip. She pushes you to succeed. She wants you to do your best work. And when you lsiten to her, your quality of work reflects that. She treats people in the way they deserve to treated. She is brilliant, so y'all better listen to her.

Greatest Professor I have ever had. You learn so much in her classes it is ridiculous. Negative reviews reflect students who aren't ready for this field, but if you want to go into video production then get used it. Yeah she has favorites, but they are the people who work the hardest. She knows the industry, so listen carefully. I will miss her!

Really good professor, and knows what she's talking about. She wants you to succeed but she's really honest. If you don't apply yourself in the class, she isn't going to spoon feed you. She knows who is working hard and who is just BSing. You got to do work, and if you want to be in this major, you gotta get used to it.

Completely useless.Easy class sure becuase you can redo anything but you learn nothing unless you have a decent TA who does all of the teaching.Plays favorites but who doesn't. I feel sorry for those who believe that she actually worked with Coppola and Lucas. Sorry kids but Santa doesn't exist either!

Insanely unclear, her mind changes every day, if not more. She may play favorites, which is exactly how the industry is, so if you don't like it you shouldn't be in a video production course to begin with. Get on her good side and you will have a very influential contact in the industry as well as stepping stone to bigger and better things.
