Ms. Zunkel was the only professor the made me feel like I can speak my mind in class and share my own ideas in her Poetry class love her class and the work we did in class she is amazing and have a great humor. Her feedback was great she always give good feedback... overall shes Tremendous at what she does.

If there was ever a teacher that makes you fall in love with a subject because of their passion for the material, it's Jane. She clearly loves what she does. All the assignments are clear and graded fairly. There were 3 papers with lots of opportunity for extra credit/revision. Can't stress enough how amazing her poetry class was, take her class :)

I'm taking her online writing 121 class& love it. I met her in person to late start join her class and she added me immediately. She's the sweetest lady ever. Obviously writing 121 isn't the easiest class but she's a huge help because of the prompts she gives. I actually enjoy reading the textbook. She responds to emails fast& has clear expectat

Ms Zunkel is a fantastic teacher. She lays out the syllabus and schedule on the first day of class. Attendance is key in passing her class. Ms Zunkel is very caring for the success of her students. She speaks clearly and directly and puts forth an incredible effort to assist us along our educational path. Would definitely attend another class.

Jane is the best writing teacher I have ever had in my life. She finds really interesting topics to write about and really engages her students. I wish I could take her for the rest of my writing classes!!

Awful online class. She was disorganized and took FOREVER to unlock assignments, grade assignments-everything. Constantly extending deadlines because SHE couldn't meet them. Slow responses (if ever) to emails. Terrible feedback until the essay is graded. I figured everything out myself and barely knew where I stood till the class was over.

just started in her online class, so there isn't a ton to say. The class is easy to follow w/minimal hw (4 journals w/readings & 4 essays). My only complaint: the topics for the essays are not interesting. For example, our 2nd essay prompt is to find a word in a dictionary & talk about it including denotations/connotations. Just keep that in mind

wonderful teacher. Clear and to the point. Doesn't stray too much from course description. Allows revisions of past work to get a better grade. love the fact that she ends class a week before finals to allow students to prepare for other classes. always helpful and is great at making time to meet if you can't see her during office hours.

I love love loved this teacher! I came into the course HATING to write. The entire process just made me shudder. However, after her encouragement I was able to put out some really good work that I'm pretty proud of. She knows how to motivate students, and has clear expectations on what you need.

Mrs. Zunkel was not only a fantastic British Literature teacher but a fantastic Poetry teacher as well. She is sincerely interested in her students, their comprehension and the overall enjoyment of her classes. The work assigned for her classes is interesting and challenging in the best of ways. Jane is amazing! It's obvious that she cares for her students and is very interested in the work they do. She's also super considerate. She released us early on days essays were due and she extended the deadline of our final essay so that we'd have time to concentrate on our other finals. She is truly a GEM!
