Do NOT take her if at all possible. The tests are ridiculous, and her papers require more effort than anything than assignment I have ever had. I'm normally an AB student, but this woman makes me wish I never signed up for Special Ed.

Baxter is the one to fear within the SPED dept. Had her for Consultation & Collaboration & for a professor who teaches inter/intra-personal skills, hers are lacking because she STILL didn't know many of our names out of a class of less than 30 by the end of the semester....what does that say? Then add the grueling tests,& that damn diversity paper!

She makes sure you get an education in her class. The information is straight forward, but there is alot of it. She wants verbatim, indepth answers on tests; is fair & will bend over backwards to help you, if you workhard for her. I've taken 2 of her classes & I have enjoyed both & made A's.

Awful. Don't ever take her for anything. I'd take a different person teaching it because she gives way too much work, nails you on tests, is real picky over everything and has awful attitude. Kind of stuck up.
