What a neat lady! Dr. Fischer is positive, encouraging and just an all around great prof! I've had her for Bio110 and Bio310. She's also my Biology major advisor. If there were ever a prof you should just sit down and have a cup of coffee with, it's Dr. Fischer. Her classes are fun and informative and your grade reflects the effort you put it.

She is a very nice person. The course covers a lot of information and the exams are fair but hard. She is a very picky and tough grader. Her passion is with research ecology and not teaching BIO 110 so I found that her smile and fake laugh during lecture to be irritating.

To reiterate what everyone else said, Bio 110 is the stupidest class ever. Basically they take everything you learned in high school Bio and dumb it down ALOT. Labs make you want to kill yourself, but pre-med's have to suffer through it.

Great professor -- intro bio is probably one of the most boring and repetitive science classes out there, and she made it as painless as possible. Her lecturing abilities are top-notch, and she's always willing to give extra help and information.
