Talks too much, repeats the same information as if she forgot what she told us but then gives mixed messages about assignments which requires US to go to her during office hours for her to explain and seems to have issues with students who don't laugh at her jokes. I just learned to smile and just did my work and earned a good grade.

Awesome..not only was she extremely helpful, but the class in itself kept my interest throughout the entire semester. Her class was one of the few in my entire time at Emerson, where I actually looked forward to and enjoyed a class. I highly recommend her class..you won't be disappointed!

Janet is a Journalism Goddess. She knows all there is about the journalism equipment, how to use it, what it's helpful for and why you should learn about it all. Probably THE best journalism teacher I've had thus far at Emerson. Can't wait to have her for TV News Producing.

Every so often you get a teacher or professor that truly cares about they are doing and what you are learning. They are as rare as a solar eclipse but Janet truly is one of them. Her enthusiasm and experience translated to her students and her caring personality and humor make her a favorite with her class. To put it in MTV terms- Janet is da bomb!

Janet is the bomb!! She is so excited and totally into what she does. That transfers over to us the students. I love going to her class. She is very understanding, caring and helpful. Definately a A+++++ pick for a teacher. Best teacher I've had in grad school.

Janet is awsome. The class is great as well. I learned a lot from it. There is a lot of work and a lot of readings. You'll have to subscribe to the New York Times and keep yourself updated with national and international news. There are quizes every so often. I would recommend this class.

Janet is the best. Her class can be tough, but it's really interesting. She gives lots of Current Events quizzes, so start buying the paper daily. She really knows what she's talking about, but you don't have to be a journalism geek to get good grades. She's super friendly and loves what she does.
