Comment:

I love psych but her teaching made me not like it because she makes it very hard to sit through her lectures. Her tests are super hard for a 100 level class. I study and still do horrible on the exams. She talks about what is exactly on her notes so you don't even have to go to class so its boring. I do not recommend her at all!

She is an awesome instructor. She knows a lot about the subject and makes it easy to understand. Her tests are difficult, make sure to study the additional material in the book not covered in lecture because she does put that on exams. I would recommend her to anyone truly interested in psych. If you're looking for an easy A, take a different prof

The class is very boring..kinda hard to follow. Her exams are extremely hard..if if you do study. Thankfully she does grade with a curve, but still..expect to be studying ALOT to pass. Wouldn't recomend her to anyone.

Comment:

Dr. Robinson has very difficult tests. She does grade on a curve which seems to be helpful. Before each chapter you have to read the textbook then take a timed online quiz over it. She's helpful if you see her during her office hours. Not an easy class but it's doable if you take a lot of time to study.

Very boring lectures. Bigger class. Don't have to attend. Puts the slides online so you can get all information from your vspace and book. DO THE CD THAT COMES WITH THE TEXTBOOK - veryy helpful! Her exams are very difficult & most do very poorly. However, she curves a ton based on class averages & there is extra credit opportunities.

Comment:

Attendance isn't mandatory, but highly recommend going to class. Exams are really hard and the two main papers are confusing, but she'll help you if you go to her office hours. Hard professor but I've learned the most from her and would her again. Just be prepared to work, study and pay attention and you'll do fine because of the curve.

Professor Robinson is a really good teacher. I got a 95% in the class, but I only skipped two classes the entire semester. Her lectures are sometimes boring, but so are everyone else's. Just PAY ATTENTION. If you go to class and study her powerpoints and your lecture notes for the tests you should get A's on all of them because of the curve.

Posts powerpoints but jumps around all the time so it was confusing. online quizzes are easy As if you read the chapter. Tests are hard but grades on a huge curve. study study study! she seems nice but lectures are beyond boring- i rarely went to class except on exam days. somehow finished semester with A (thank u curve!)

HORRIBLE teacher. It's pretty bad when the average grade on an exam is about 40%. I've never failed a class in my life except hers. She's kinda boring too, but most profs are. Only good thing about the class is the fact that she doesnt care whether you show up or not and posts everything on vspace.

Robinson is rigid and extreme. Her comments on the paper draft are vague and useless. She won't tell you anything about what will be on exams. In class once, a student was asking lots of questions on a disorder and she said, "We don't have time to discuss all your issues in class." It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and rude.

Janet Robinson is not a good professor. The material is not difficult, but she makes the tests and assignments absurd. If you do not reproduce her thoughts on an assignment, you are wrong and will not receive a good grade. She is rigid, unhelpful, and apathetic. Her comments on your work are vague and useless. she is a very nice lady just SUPER HARD! study study study oh and study some more.... if you think you have studied too much its not enough he test are MURDER. the best part is that she grades on a HUGE curve the class average on tests are usually around a 40% but she does offer some extra credit.

She is terrible! i barely show up to the class because she puts everything on powerpoints. Tests are murder! Do really good on the quizes, and do extra credit if any. The class average on tests is usually 40%. STUDY and you'll do ok. She is not too boring, but you can catch up on sleep.

Prof. Robinson is great. She is always moving and talking, you either really love her or she rubs you the wrong way. Her tests are murder but if you actually study you will do ok. She drops low grades to. Plus, she grades on a HUGE curve which makes things easier. I would take her for this class again. Remember! STUDY! or you WILL fail!
