Mrs. Sarjeant is a wonderful teacher. She took a subject that I didn't like (Eng) and made it bearable, and almost interesting for me. You must turn in all class work and turn in 4 papers on time to get a good grade. She responds to e-mail in a timely fashion. She also has a big heart and cares that her students do well.

Most people taking ENG111 at CPCC don't particularly enjoy such classes. But I did. Imagine my surprise when I put a lot of effort into an essay only for Mrs. Sarjeant to accuse me of cheating in a roundabout way. Way to reward the best and brightest. And Polar Express jingle bells in college? Give me a break.

I had a great experience in taking this class with her. She cares a lot about her students. There are 4 essays to do during the semester and 1 essay for final.( We only did 3 essays though). Assignments are OK. If you do all your homework and spend sometime to write a good essay, you will definitely get an A.

Compassionate, understanding, enjoyable, fair, organized, clear, helpful! Words are not enough to describe the pure greatness of this professor. She is a great teacher and will help you in any way she can just as long as you make an effort. Her grading is hard but helped me as a freshman in my first semester to immediatly get used to college vs. High School.
