I loved my first Spanish prof, but Janice is way more clear because she actually speaks English in class. She has funny stories about cultural differences and sayings, plus she is a fair marker. She is very kind and understanding of her students, pretty outstanding prof if you ask me!

Comment:

She is the nicest most caring professor in the university. She actually genuinely cares about her students and knows the stress we go through as students. She is not there to screw you over and she actually helps you get a good mark. I really like her, she's so is friendly and a warm person.

She looks really scary when you first meet her, but is one of the nicest people in the world. She's so clear when she talks, and makes the easy to understand. Very fair in her marking. I would definitely recommend this prof. Especially if you need the language credits!

Janice is an amazing prof. As long as you go to class you will get a good grade. Make some friends in class because you have to do activities together anyways, and it makes everything a lot easier to learn. I recommend this class to anyone who needs a language credit.

I love Janice!Not only is she a great spanish teacher she cares about all her students and loves her job and will help you with anything you have difficulty with. I rearranged my whole schedule just so I could have her the next semester in 112. Probably the kindest prof with great stories to tell that she can always relate into a good lifes lesson!

Great prof for those who are required to take a language for their degree. She really gave me personally a whole lot of breaks and was very understanding of the fact that the majority of the class was not there out of choice! My only negative with her was that some of the more complex concepts in 112 were not explained very well.

Janice is so easy going and seems like such a sweetheart. In her class, you get good grades for just trying. She makes it really easy to learn and makes the students feel at ease. She won't call on you unless you volunteer yourself. Highly recommended!

Extremely down to earth, friendly, informal and tells you about**** that other profs won't dare to. Very fair marker with good online notes and resources. It would be better if she went around the class more during group practice to make sure we were on the right track.

The most down to earth prof i have ever had. Doesn't make u feel uncomfortable. I was forced to take this course and she made it enjoyable. Wished more profs followed her style. Also extremely helpful. She used to live in Mexico and has a ton of interesting stories.

Not so good. Either the course is flawed or she is because in four months, not a whole lot was accomplished. The textbook for the course was equally useless which suggests that the course was the problem, but it's just a bad deal altogether. Beware.
