She is a really interesting lecturer. Her class is mandatory but she almost always finish up early (30mins-1hour). Fair grader. Her midterm is very easy, she gave us all the exact questions of the midterm so that on the midterm day we only need to memorize the answer. All works are due at the end of the semester which is quite overwhelming.

She is one of the best professor at DVC and I highly recommended her class for international students taking English 122. She has enormous patience to clarify assignments so don't hesitate to ask until clear. I took her class during summer and got an A also because I had good attendance and participation. The term paper was interesting!

This is an amazing teacher. She does give a lot of work for the class but so long as you pay attention and do all the work you are fine. The work is not hard and she really does care. Would definitely recommend any of her classes.

This teacher is just about the best I have ever had. She is able to show empathy and compassion and really loves teaching and her students. It is obvious this is her life's love and vocation. Not just a job to her. She not only challenges me, but I can see that she is able to overcome challenges herself. She never gave up on me/

She missed a lot of classes this fall semester, which I did not enjoy. She would also take too long to hand back your work so her would be useless by the time you received it. Overall, I was not too impressed, considering she has taught for forty years. I did not learn anything in her class, only did a lot of work for almost nothing.

An amazing Eng 122 teacher. She certainly gives a whole lot of work but the essays are straight forward and overall the class is not difficult. She likes to tell stories which lighten up the class a bit. This is probably not the class for you if you are a procrastinator for she gives work in the beginning of the semester that is due at the end.

For the summer course, attendance was mandatory, but since the class as 2hrs she let us leave early almost everyday. Recommended if you do not mind busy work. I had to work hard to get an A but it is defiantly doable. Not sure if I would take her during the fall/spring semesters- the the final term paper is 10+ pages...yikes. Summer was good though

I took her class during the summer semester. The was a lot of busy work (20 current events, 12 subjective responses, film notes) also 3 formal essays and 3 in class essays, a book review and the final term paper. She is unclear in what she expects in essays, but genuinely wants students to do well. Extra credit is insane bumped my grade up 10%!

She gives you the work at the beginning of the semester and then expects it all due at the end, so if you're responsible enough to space out your work, you'll be fine. Also, she lightly pushes her students into discovering politics, while remaining secretive of her own views. The essays are easy and the book she uses is full of interesting topics!

Take her, she is very nice and caring. Will tell u exactly what she expects in your papers. Only 3 papers and a midterm and a final paper. I enjoyed her class and def recommend her if you want an A just write good papers and it shouldn't be too hard.

I had this wonderful woman for two classes, 122 and 126. She is honest, sincere, charming and a great teacher. She really cared and is the reason I stayed at DVC. Now I've been accepted to UC Davis. She ruled.

Very nice instructor! She teaches well and really makes you think critically. However, she does work you to death! We had to write a ten page paper at the end of the term. A lot of assignments but a lot of opportunities to get a good grade. Again, very lovely and kind.

the easiest teacher i ever had! she give extra credit opportunities and its awesome! she dosn't give any test and only hae a couple of essays but its very opinionated. she loves to get feedback from her students and she loves to have class dissucssion and pratically hands you an A just attend class everyday and you will pass
