I just ran into him today. Apparently he lives in another country now most of the time, but came back to buy shirts. When I asked if he remembers me, he says, "Oh, you wrote on the Kyoto Protocol, right?" 5 years after I had him, and he remembers my final paper (but not my name)...so Pratt! Ha

During my first semester at Towson, I was a transfer student who had several english professors prior to having Professor Pratt, but he was the first to truly impact my writing. His approach to the class was out of the ordinary, which evoked my admiration for his ability to change the way I write. He's a solid and impressive teacher. I'm grateful.

his lectures are kind of interting, we only had papers, which he graded kinda strict, but i got an a in that class...his final sucked, but thats about the only bad thing. i just felt i wasnt prepared for the final. he is def willing to help any time you need it. very helpful

He puts the standard out there clear and is always willing to help you get them as close as possible. He is a hard grader. I struggled just to write B papers, but that's fair b/c english has never been my thing. I saw him shopping during break, and he said he's at a different college next semester. Towson has lost a great proffesor.

Really wonderful! Go see him if you're not doing well. He has no problem talking to you for like hours to try and help, even going through papers step by step to make your writing better. Does talk about politics and stuff alot, but that's maybe just because so few people care enough to think up ideas.

GREAT TEACHER!!!! he is most likely the best teacher i have ever had. he is definitely the most helpful teacher i've ever had. also, the content that he teaches is completely relevant to the course and anybody who says otherwise is wrong. if you are looking to become a better writer and are looking for a great teacher, he is the one you want.

HORRIBLE teacher, avoid his class at all costs, does not teach just asks the class if they have questions and then goes from there.. rambles on about the most random things.. class very boring and long, never lets you out early. take this class if all you want to do is writing..

He is hysterical! Hes really helpful if you go to him and has no problem spending time with you until you fully understand your mistakes. Hard to get an A but you will learn a lot so its worth it. If you want to learn a lot about grammer and truly want to improve your writing then definately take him, if you want an easy A maybe try a dif prof.

He's tough, but you can do well. Listen in class and look up grammer when he tells you it's wrong. Turn in rough drafts, and he tells you what to work on. He will cut you a break if you make a honest mistake, but don't try and game him.

One of the best in the english department. He makes you work, but if you write well and pay attention you will do well in the course. Would reccomend this class to anyone. He actually respects education and that is not true of many these days.
