My biggest problem with her was her complete neglect to Academics. She cut off so much funding to some of the MAJOR departments(Math, English, Sciences, etc) which consequently hurt other programs(engineers/nurses/business majors). Developing a sports program is one thing, but don't do it at the expense of our education.

I was a freshman for the first div. 1 season. I applied to an institution of higher learning and instead attended Circ-de-Lois. Binghamton University was doing just fine as SUNY Binghamton. Oh, and for the record, the mini-mall in the Student Union was far superior to the new mini-mall in the University Union (note name change for union).

Lois rarely interacts with the student body, she's been involved in unethical practices (such as being a chair on M&T, the only bank available on campus), and her plans to form a law school are ridiculous. But, she's getting married and retiring, so hopefully someone better will take her place.

if her main job is to get $$, then still doing bad job. from a professor, heard that the president of RPI raised 3/4 of a billion dollars, while defleur raised less than 10% of that. plus, very uncharismatic. cant make speeches. we need to hit more beach balls during her talks @ graduation. makes it more fun...

People don't understand that her job is NOT to the students, it is to go and get us funding. She does that quite well. In fact, most student groups don't know that they can go to her directly and ask for money. Speech and Debate team got TONS from her.
