I had him for BIO 101 lab and he was great! Super friendly, understanding, and a great professor. The material isn't hard if you do the labs correctly and he goes over last weeks material before each quiz (which is the first thing you do each lab period).

I had taken this class at another college, got an 97, but it didn't transfer. I took it here and struggled. He's such a fun prof and really makes the lectures/labs interesting. His tests are killer. I looked at the first test and questioned if I was in the right class. He's willing to help at all times thought. It's an amazing class just very hard

Amazing lectures (just fill in the slides and pay attention), fun labs (I still make homemade yogurt every month now), and attentive professor. One of my all-time favorite professors. Dr. Baker is truly one-in-a-million, you will be lucky to have him. Keep in mind, this isn't easy MATERIAL so you will need to study and prepare outside of class.

if you have to take bio251 then baker is the way to go. he helps you understand the subject. microbio is a tricky subject but he makes it as clear as possible to understand. he is entertaining at times and relates information you learned at the beginning of class all the way throughout the semester

Wonderful instructor! Fun, upbeat, makes goofy sound effects, relates material to real life, understanable, approachable. His exams are demanding, make certain you take excellent notes. Great class. Awesome instructor.

Great teacher, and really cares about you understanding the material. He will meet with you whenever needed, and wants you to succeed. Has such nerdy jokes, but tries to use current real life events to explain the material. I recommend him over Walton any day. Great teacher
