Jason is a great prof. You get out what you put in, and Jason is very open to help you out. I took a lab based class, and his teaching quickly makes you feel like you deserve a phd in plate pouring. Very funny, nice, intelligent and interesting. Highly recommend checking out at least one of his courses.

Jason is very entertaining/funny and therefore good at making the subject extra interesting (and even relevant). He also has a gift for explaining complex ideas in a patient and non-stressful manner. I recommend any of his classes, just be prepared to contribute something to the class and think once you're there. It'll be worth it.

I don't like bio, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Now all I want to do is grow creepy crawlys in test tubes. This guy is awesome, and you will enjoy whatever you take with him. Not only that, but you will learn how to do whatever it is like you were a natural lab rat, but without all the titration.

My div II chair. Awesome classes, personable, understanding, all around amazing. If you think you might be intersted in NS you should take a class with him. Or at least wander into his office and have a chat. he is really a great guy.

Great guy utterly brillient and always willing to help be it with class or an out side project. He's awesome to have as a teacher as well as some one to stop by and bug/hang out with ask questions. He's always busy, but he'll make the time for students.
