Comment:

This is the easiest physics class you'll ever take. It's all basic physics equations and basic math you need to know. There's 4 exams, but they're incredibly easy!! Do the study guide and you'll get an A. The project at the end is very simple. It seemed like he didn't care about the class since there were only 10 people in it, but he's alright.

This was a hard class, but I enjoyed both the class and Trento. He was really funny and was a pleasure to learn from. I definitely will take him again in the future.

Dont be mistaken, this class has a lot of math! so if you dont like math take something different then this class. It says concepts of physics but buy the end of the semester it is almost 100% math. 4 big exams, 1 paper and a project by the end. hw spread out through the semester.

Listen this is college your expected to put in the work, do that and you will pass. Do not rely on the study guide alone. If you go see him in the office go w/ questions and why you don't know. He will help but not do the work for you. I had a D after physics part and he helped me raise it by 20% points. Solid professor

Comment:

If you have a laptop or cellphone dependency, this class may not be for you. In my experience, the people that did well understood that electronics have a proper time and place. Tests are very straight forward. You will definitely get what you put in. And for some of the complaints, I know the work was NOT put in.

Not an easy A! He only grades on quizes, tests, and a few projects. His tests are very specific, good luck trying to study every little thing he says and does. He is not helpful when met with one on one and makes you feel dumb for not understanding, even though the subjects are not easy ones.

Mr. Trento "His Highness" always starts the class off with a joke. Though being there for EVERY SINGLE CLASS is not exactly mandatory to pass, it's far better to be there, because he covers the material in his own way to help you understand it instead of it just being book work. There's several projects too, to add some variety.

Never go to his office hours! He makes you feel sooooo stupid and doesn't even help you! Literally almost me cry! Same goes for if you email him. He says he will help you with every single question on the study guide but he won't. All he answerd me was "google it" each time.

Trento has by far been one of my favorite teachers at Butte. HW is super easy out of the book and his tests are question copy/pasted from the study which he goes over in class. As long as you do the HW and study guides you'll get an easy A. Labs are super easy and you can work in groups

His homework is questions from the book due once a week. The questions are very straight forward. Study like your life depends on it for those study guides for the test. Labs are done in groups. It's super helpful. Overal, he's a nice guy

Jason is a great, fun teacher. Starts every class with a lame dad joke but they're great ice breakers for an early morning class. His notes are pretty clear, if you don't understand anything he's willing to go over it again in class. The study guides for the tests are amazing, if you do those you will get an A no problem. The HW is really long tho.

The study guides are absolutely key to passing the tests, if you know the study guide you will get an A. Quizzes are much harder ( not multiple choice like tests) and would recommend reviewing your notes and the book throughly if you want a passing grade. He's very fair and will review study guide with you if you ask. Hard material but good teacher

It's impossible to fail his PHYS 10 class. He is a great teacher, will help you understand the concepts in different ways. Easily approachable, makes learning fun. Always starts off the class with a joke! His labs are fun too, they help you understand the concept a lot better! DEFINITELY TAKE HIS CLASS! )

Good teacher, interesting lectures. The labs sometimes seemed pointless, but they were fun most of the time. He's funny and known for his cheesy jokes. You have to study quite a bit for the tests, because they are hard and worth a lot of your grade. I came to almost every class and did most of the assignments but got a D :

Trento was an amazing instructor. He understands the material can be difficult to understand for most and is very willing to explain concepts further if you need help. The labs rarely went the full time which was lovely. His tests are tough, but if you show up and do the labs and study with flash cards, you will do fine. Tough class, great teacher.
