Lectures are so hard to sit through- this class is ridiculously boring. Uses power points to talk about his camping trips and show the same pictures that are in the book. Tests are really hard. If it weren't for the curve, I probably would have gotten a D in the class but got a B because I drove myself crazy studying. Do not take this class

Very nice guy. Very hard class!!!!! The book fools you into thinking the class is easy... Wrong!!!!! Unless you have a tutor or you are a science nerd I dont recommend this class. He tries to make it easy. Open book tests arent helpful and 85% of the class completed with C+ - D+ average.

Class is hard. I read all the chapters and still had a hard time, even on the open book tests. Curves on the test help a lot. Lectures are pretty borign but he seems like a nice guy.

Very nice professor, but unfortunately a VERY hard class. Lectures are boring and have nothing to do with the book. It's impossible to follow along becuase they don't go together. The tests are hard as well. He curves the tests, but it never seems to help much. Good luck if you take this class.

Worst professor ever! Extremely boring lectures and the tests are nothing like what he teaches. No matter how many notes you take, you'll still fail, he's impossible. He tries hard to be funny, but is just really annoying. Take something else!

Professor is really nice but this is not an easy class at all. Lectures are ridiculously boring, almost every slide he shows is in the book so I never went to class. You definitely have to study. I failed almost every test but with the curve I got C's. Extra credit if you go to SI sessions.

Very hard for Gen-Ed even if you go to class, study and do work test questions are still hard. Key to class take the practice exams in the study guide many repeat questions on the test. His lectures he tends to ramble and not make a lot of sense.

This class is so hard! curves grades but that shows just how hard the tests are. seems easy until after add-drop week then gets boring. Tests are tricky and you think you do well and then you fail. HARD class, shouldn't be Gen ed teacher. should be graduate prof.

This guy is seriously probably one of the nicest teachers I've had in college. He's always willing to help. The class is really hard, but overall he teaches well. It's not a good class if you don't get concepts,but if you work hard and do the study guides you should be okay.

I like him. I learn a lot of interesting stuff from the lectures and I like his examples a lotm, but the tests are really hard and just going to the lectures doesn't cover everything. You really have to just read the book to do well on the tests. There's no math you have to learn, so that's good!
