Comment:
Love uses her own textbook and it's absolutely horrible--half the cases don't even teach the concept she's trying to get across. Also, it's all about memorizing her charts and fitting into her box, not about actually using your brain. Exam is extremely tricky and touches on stuff you spent 10 seconds on in class.

She's hard to follow at times, but she's clearly very knowledgeable and wants us to understand and enjoy the material as much as she does.

I always knew what to expect on the final exam. Love never tries to "hide the ball" from you. It was a hard class, but you knew exactly what you needed to do to get a decent grade. Love is nice and approachable as well.

Best teacher there. Clear. Copy her charts and memorize them - she lays it all out for you, even for the slow folks. Be prepared in class and you'll do much better. Pay attention and listen well - she gives it all to you. Available and approachable and fair.

Comment:
Most of the course was spent discussing one or two areas of tort law that seemed to be of interest to her. We learned no theories or analytical structures in this course. We were encouraged just to memorize her boardwork instead of actually developing our own means of analyzing the problems.

She's probably one of the clearest professors at the law school in terms of what she wants you to get out of her class. The material is complex, yet she makes it manageable. The final was long and hard but fair.
