Very difficult class, but she is willing to work with any student that wants to get better. I went to her office hours quite frequently and improved my test scores by 15-20%. There are about 7 quizzes and 3 tests throughout the semester. 50 pts. worth of group work. Final is cumulative. She really cares about all of her students.

Mrs. Maier-Lytle was a wonderful UNIV teacher. Extremely understanding and compassionate. Her class doesn't require much work overall so make sure you don't miss the few things she does assign.

Accounting 101 was very difficult for me. Accounting 202 with her it was made simple. She walks through examples and helps you figure it out on your own. Lectures are interactive and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

She did an excellent job. Naturally I think ACCT202 is a tough class and it was tough but she wants you to do well and if you work for it you can definitely succeed in this class. There are weekly hw assignments and quizzes but they benefit you because they keep you caught up in the class

UNIV in general is a waste of time and money but Prof. Maier-Lytle is incredibly enthusiastic and respectful and makes her expectations clear.

She is a good professor. Accounting is not easy for everyone, but i think she makes it simple enough that if you're willing to put in the effort, then you can get a good grade. The tests are a little tough. Mostly multiple choice with one big written problem at the end. I would take her again if i had the chance.

Has mostly good qualities. Good teacher and tests aren't too bad if you study well. Will use up every last second of class time. You'll never get out early even if you finish the material for the day early. Also expect a lot of online homework and a quiz every week. Very nice lady. Overall a good professor.

Uses a powerpoint system straight from the book that doesn't help at all when taking notes. Knows her material but doesn't just get the needed points across, instead going on about other information that doesn't even show up on the test. Nice lady but not my favorite teacher

Contrary to other people's comments on here, I did not enjoy this class. The professor was rarely ever happy and had this attitude that she was better than every student. Her teaching style involves asking questions and then doing examples. With that said, she is a DECENT teacher. No more, no less. Do your homework, study, and ignore her attitude.

had her for 202 and 203(lab). 203 should be an internet class. you teach yourself on the computer. for 202 the class is kind of hard. her test aren't too bad. she knows what she is teaching but it is almost too much to cover. she is very active in acct things so if you are and acct major she is a good person to know.

Numbers in a column is by no means my forte but she takes the time in class to simplify those tricky problems, she looks good while she does it too. Tests are very similar to assignments so review review review! Takes attendance. Did I mention she looks good?

The discussions in class can be boring, but she does a great job of going through problems until the class has a full understanding of them. She is open and accessible. I am not a great student by any means, but I think she was one of the better professors I've had. The class moves at a good pace and doesn't have too much of a workload

Well I definetely gave her the hot rating. Besides that, she is a good teacher. She keeps thing simple in comparison to other Accounting professors. Its not hard to get a good grade if you just do everything. or almost everything.

Really good teacher. Contrary to what everyone else says, the tests are not hard at all. She tells you exactly what the problems will be, and the multiple choice are pretty much cake. I would recommend her to anyone having to take Managerial/Cost Accounting. One down side is she seems to be very untrusting of her students.

I disagree with the last comment. This class isn't to be taken lightly, every teacher is going to be hard. This is the best Accting teacher by far. She's fair. She's grades hard, but she'll tell you exactly whats on the tests. No surprises. She also made boring material somewhat interesting. Take her or you'll be sorry.
