The whole class is based on participation, so all you need to do to get a good grade is come to class and participate at least once. There is one test and one paper (which is the final). He is an extremely easy professor to work with! Great guy who is passionate about econ.

Awesome guy and profesor. Took him for Econ 208 and Global Econ 241. Only has 2 tests and quizzes. Attendence isnt mandatory, but why wouldnt you go to class if your paying for it? Smart guy you can learn a lot from him if you pay attention.

I attended almost every class, took notes, studied for the exams, and received a C+! And I participated in class. He is hard to understand and his teaching style is poor. I would not recommend him. There are only two grades for the class. Midterm and final exam. If you fail the midterm, good luck on pulling your grade up!

Nice, interesting professor. The class is confusing and everything is done purely by lectures, no book. He knows the material, but sometimes it's hard to see the big picture of why you're learning what you are.

He is really into the subject and makes economics easy to understand. Class is mostly lecture however opinions and questions are welcome interruptions. Very well taught, makes a rather dull subject very interesting and applicable to every day life. Tests are based solely on lectures in class. Highly recommended.

Very exciting class. No textbook. He mostly lectures, but writes nearly all of it on the board. We had quite a few small group in-class assignments and a couple papers to write. I recommend him for this class.
