I had jean for two 4000 level print courses. She was an ideal, honest and passionate professor who is also a master of her trade. Critiques were hard but always truthful. She became invested in my personal art practice and well being. Thank you.

She teaches her classes through sped up tutorials which no one comprehends, and during criticism, if she's *personally* not a fan of your work, she'll poke at you for doing it the "wrong" way. I really lost a part of my love for CGing after her; she's the worst teacher I've ever encountered in my life.

I"ve taken every class Mrs Maddison has taught, from entry level to advanced and experimental printmaking, as well as every computer graphics class, and she is the BEST. Show a little interest and work hard she'll open a floodgate of knowledge. It was a privilage to work with her.

Her teaching technique consists of running through examples so quickly that you lose your place in mere seconds. This class is so easy, yet she finds a way to make even the simplest task too difficult to comprehend.
