Working with him is like acquired taste; the more you work with him, the more you like him. It takes time to understand the seriousness and depth of what he teaches. I started off with bad performances and ended up doing some of my best works.

Absolutely a gem and wonderful professor! Gave me new perspectives on how to approach architecture and the world. I specifically went to McGill to work with Alberto and he has given me valuable tools that I will take with me everywhere I go for the rest of my life. Absolutely a caring person as well and very humble.

Alberto is very smart and a carismatic teacher. He might have a good knowledge of phenomonology in philosophy and interpretes the history of 'european' architecture from medeival to modern in his own framework. he treats any other subject with derogation if you dont fully accept him. his is good in lectures but is not a helpful supervisor.
