Absolutely the Best Professor at St. John's. She is my favorite and I wish I could take her again. The professor knows so much and talks about her experiences as an ex-banker. Definitely take her class. you will leave knowing so much more than when you started.

I took her for commercial banking. There are a lot of notes and you if you didn't know anything about commercial banking beforehand, you will definitely know something after! Two case studies, a midterm and a final. You have to study a lot but she's a good teacher. Just take good and extensive notes and you'll do fine.

Best professor at St. John's! A lot of notes, but very interesting...you go into her class knowing nothing and you walk away knowing a lot (and you don't forget her material when the semester is over)!!! Highly recommended, especially if you want to learn.

LOVE professor Warner!!! She really knows her stuff and if you come to every class and take lots and lots of notes, I used to write down everything she would say, then you are guaranteed an A in her class. She is the best out there! SJU needs more professors like her!

Warner's one of the best professors I've had at SJU. She's not easy, but she doesn't give too much work either. 2 case studies, midterm and final, a hw assignment here and there. And she's an excellent lecturer, knows what's she talking about and you will learn a lot. She's very helpful too and cares about her students. Strongly recommend.

This teacher is VERY ANNNAAALLLL!!!! Her way or no way. This class is no joke, U cant B/S or cheat she is like the Finance natsi! 2 case studies, one was alot of work the other was EEHHH. My advice is to take another teacher if u r not a finance major.

Make sure you do well on those case studies, they can either make or break your grade. She is a very good professor and you'll learn because she uses her own experiences out from the workplace and brings it to the classroom to bring live and real problems that occurs. Overall i would reccomend to take her only if your serious about learning.

Didn't really care for this class too much but Warner is really good. Very knowledgeable, knows what she's talking about and she can teach. Fair grader on the tests as long as you get something out of her lectures. A lot of notes but you will learn. Tests were all short answer but she gives thorough reviews. Recommended, esp. for finance majors.

She has an old fashioned approach. The tests are hard. There is alot of notes, usually definitions and such, yet the tests are mostly math and problems to solve. Rarely use the book, and there is a few HW assignments and case projects dealing with stocks. The class is kind of boring because its all lectures.

Very punctual, articulate and smart. she can teach. you'll definitly learn at least one thing in her class. fair grader. but she's got a case study assignment. that's no joke. just make sure u invest more in ur 401k accumulate at least $400,00o and invest in more than one fund. i had to learn that the hard way.

she looks pretty mean, and you may think she is when grading, because she's very strict, but there are curves and opportunities for extra credit which compensate for that. She was an amazing teacher; she really knows how to teach, and she surprised me at the end. :) This class was an accomplishment!
