Jed Ashley is a nice guy, and a pretty good professor, but this class is incredibly difficult! You have to put in a ton of study hours if you want to pass. I HIGHLY recommend getting a tutorer early on.

This is the worse instructor I have ever come in contact with and I already have an associates degree. He uses class time to talk about things that are not class related. He heartless and tackless, he insults people. I don't know why Grossmont continues to employ him. Bad judgment on their part. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Accounting is a super hard class. I got an A but i had to put in extra hard hours. The professor has a unique style but he only teaches whats on the exam. there are 12 quizes but he drops your 2 lowest. The teacher is good but beware of the amount of studying you have to put in

Dude, these classes are seriously hard and require tons of work. I went to www.mycollegepost.com and found an awesome tutor at SDSU to help me. If you want to get through these classes with decent grades the first time around, I recommend this strategy.

Sarcastic? Yes & degrading, rude, evil. We all have to study for a good grade. But being rude to your students, not a good teacher. Don't take him..he will ruin your spirit..if you let him. +50% of the students fail. Why? Students dont want to put up w/a teacher you has rude snotty responses. Take Schulman! He's the best.

Ashley is a sarcastic son of a B$tch but a great teacher. The class is challenging but with some effort anybody can get an A. Study the problems at the end of the chapters because they resemble the tests. Lets you retake a test and drops the two lowest quiz grades.
