Love him - he is the model of the pure mathematician enthusiastic about the stuff. Abstract thought as God - but he'll get you there. Different than any other math course I've had here.

Comment:
All I have to say, is if you HAVE to take a class that Rosoff teaches, try to get it with ANYONE else before. Sure, he's funny and weird, but it will be the hardest, most confusing (and tutors don't help) semester of your life. I would get all the homework correct, and then fail the test because he just makes stuff up, and then picks a random grade

It's easy to tell that Jeff loves what he does. He's passionate about the subject matter and creates real world scenarios for students to connect with mathematics. Not to mention, he has the BEST laugh known to human kind!

Comment:
If you have the option, take calc III with someone else. His tests are very hard, you can't read his writing to take notes during class, if you make a mistake he makes you look like an idiot. I really enjoy the concepts in calc III and could stand his lectures but he doesn't do any example problems. His tests are different than the homework also

Rosoff was the worst prof I have ever had. He is terrible. The tests are impossible and don't even relate to what were learning in class. Id rather have a pig teach me and write tests for me. AWFUL.

Awful. He helps you to understand the concepts, (if you're understanding the theories and formulas behind what he's doing.) Literally, does 0 examples to help you understand what he's teaching. His tests are literally the hardest tests I've taken in my life, and I highly recommend avoiding him/transferring out of his class if. Worst prof ever.

He is a really great professor! He has a weird sense of humor, not to be taken personally. If you do the work he'll be helpful, but he doesn't like those who put in 0 effort. He is very good at explaining and always will help you. Tests are hard but the grading curve is fantastic!! I highly recommend taking a class with him.

Jeff is a great prof. Hilarious and obviously very intelligent. Can seem scatterbrained at times. He does a good job of explaining why and how we solve problems instead of just walking up to the board and letting students copy down equations for 50 minutes. However, tests are literally impossible. Makes up for it with a nice final grade curve.

Worst prof I've ever had. I absolutely WOULD NOT reccommend his class to anyone. Writes impossible tests and is more confusing than helpful in lecture. He is funny and knows what he's talking about, but killed any interest I would have otherwise had for math.

The worst professor I have ever had. He is obviously very smart and an interesting person but he cannot explain things at a student level which is the core of a professor's job. Anytime someone asks a question in class he makes them look dumb for not already knowing it. He should know the people in his classes dont have math degrees like he does.

Take calculus from this guy. Even if you think hate math, he can make you love it. And in a fun & interesting way. Tests are hard, but he preps you for them and takes the hardness into account when he grades. Very cool. Best math prof! Best at GAC. Should be a Carlson winner,if he's not already.

Nice guy, decent class, impossible final. His classic "shower problems" are infamous for being challenging. He's also prone to using language others might find offensive or weird coming from a math professor. Really tries to talk at a "student" level.

Interesting guy. Very quirky. Loves math. Expects you to read your book and catch up if you missed class. If you go to his office, he can be helpful, but sometimes makes you feel stupid for not knowing something. Entertaining class.

Great prof - take him if you can. Relaxed, fun, but really serious about math, and his enthusiasm is infectious. He made me want to go on and take more math --hope I can get him. He's really cute, too. Fun to flirt wiht in a nice way.
