you dont learn much in class make sure to go to recitation and just study the stuff he gives for the test and the final is basically the midterms and little bit new information, do well on the essay and participate in recitation and you will be good.

Very very harsh grader. You have no way of actually knowing where you stand until you get your grade. He doesn't use blackboard for anything. He put on the board that out of the 6 who came to all classes, their average was 84.

Awful professor. Began taking attendance in the middle of the semester without even telling us. Never was able to make anything interesting. Gave me a 40% on an assignment because I didn't use the book he wrote, which he will expect you to buy.

Great insights into the real world of politics. Many books on partisanship. Harsh grader, but gives you an opportunity to redeem your self. Do not slack off on the tests. Quizzes are mostly there to take attendance.

DO NOT take this class if your a tiny bit liberal. all he does is push his conservative views on students from the FIRST day of class.Also I have never gotten anything other than a perfect score in government classes and the average gradeon our first exam was a 66. HORRIBLE

Very good teacher but I didn't understand grading. Did very badly on tests and quizzes but ended with an A-. I don't think my final project was THAT good. I'm not complaining though. Good guy, good prof.
