Wardeska is awesome. He may not come off as interesting at first, but he has a really quick sense of humor that people tend to miss. He's a pretty cool teacher and is willing to work with you in the class. A little awkward to talk to one on one, but other than that he's an awesome guy that cares about teaching.

Dr. Wardeska is a great professor. He knows what he is talking about, but sometimes he has difficulty explaining his work. He depends on his own handwritten notes heavily. Overall, it was not too tough though. Just go to class and do the practice problems.

I'm not really fond of Chemistry but Wardeska made it very interesting. He would bring little experiments to class at least once a week to prove concepts we were going over in class. Attendance wasn't mandatory but there were bonus points for showing up 75% of the time. He isn't the easiest but at least he makes chemistry interesting.

I prefer Biology over Chemistry any day, but Wardeska at least makes it interesting. Test difficulty varies like crazy, but if you review his powerpoints, take notes in class, and rework all of the Wiley homework before each exam, you will do fine. Also, he gives 5 points onto test average at end of semester for good attendance.

If you haven't already had chemistry, start with Intro to Chem, because you won't make it in this class otherwise.

I really enjoyed this class. The tests aren't too difficult. On the homework you get 4 tries. Sometimes he does cool experiments in class. This was probably one of my favorite classes this semester.

This class made me hate life. I was so stressed and miserable. I studied for hours and went to tutoring and still failed. I set up a meeting with him because I wanted to pass and all he said was, too bad. Do not take this class!!

Do not take this class if you are not a strong student. Wardeska is a nice guy; however lectures are a mess, and he does not answer questions in class, or if he does, he simply confuses you more. Material has to be self taught; test are easy if you are able to do so. Skip class and opt for studying the book instead (I got an A this way).

Wardeska is a not a good teacher, however his tests are easier than the other Chem professors on campus, therefor he is probably the easiest out of them all (if you can teach yourself!). Weekly homework, 4 tests, and a final. Rarely takes attendence

This man has an wonderful knowledge of subject. However, his ability to bestow that knowledge on his students is very much lacking. I study for every single test a week in advance every night and there are still problems on the test I've never seen before! I would try to avoid this class if at all possible unless you are excellent at chemistry

He's really not that bad. To the people studying hours upon hours, maybe you should look at the basic concepts. I've no idea how you'd spend more than 4 or so hours a week on this class.

Horrible. cannot hear. you have to teach yourself. Chemistry was my favorite subject BEFORE i had him for a teacher. he cannot explain things well..and sometimes just completely ignores your questions. he rambles a lot about pointless things and tends to skip over the things that you will be tested on.

VERY hard class, studied my butt off (it felt like every amount of free time I had was spent studying for this class) and made an A- which actually surprised me. He's a great guy, not the best at explaining concepts though that's for sure so be prepared to teach yourself later. Hard tests but if you study you'll be prepared. Hard-of-hearing

The teacher is incredibly boring. It is really hard to focus in his class. His tests are over 4 chapters a piece and he does not give quizzes. Take Mohensi, I heard that he is the best.

If you have not had chemistry before you might not want to take him. He is nice and will help outside of class a lot but sometimes his lectures are all over the place. He does not give quizzes so your only grades are the test which are graded hard but the are doable.

The class is very hard but I liked Wardeska. I would definately take him again. He gave one opportunity for extra credit, posts practice quizes and optional homework on blackboard.Read all the chapters & he usually gives a review b4 test. Attendance is optional, but go to get extra credit. He really wants to see his students do well.
