Comment:

Kauffman uses examples from his own life to make points and most of the time it works very well. On the other hand his tests are pretty hard to interpret and study for since it is not always clear what he considers most important, and even what he's looking for in a question. Take him if you like a class that is entertaining and has useful info.

By far the best graduate business instructor at ISU. He's not the easiest grader but you'll learn a lot. The class is extremely interesting and his lectures are outstanding. He can relate to the students and he's very funny. As long as you're not a moron you will love his class.

I didn't know that people like this were still around. He is so ultimate extreme that he started dating his wife by telling her he was going to jump off a bridge if she wouldn't date him. If you enjoy listening to how smart someone is, this class is for you. wow, he has re-invented the wheel according to him!

Dr. Kaufmann is very cynical, but he makes the class very interesting. It's extremely important to go to class. He uses no text book so its all lecture base. In addition, tests are essay based. As long as you study the material and go to class, you should do well.

He is by far the best professor I have ever had. He was able to get his message across very well, but kinda snide. He does have some attitude but its great when you get to know it. He made some really boring stuff interesting. Tests are essays and easy if you pay attention. Kaufmann should never leave ISU and I wish he taught more classes.

Outstanding Prof! Really cares out the students and goes out of his way to show it and make sure everyone understands the info. A lot of the class is not even from the book, just really good info that you need in the real world but no one else tells you.

This is a class that all business students should take before graduating. Kaufmann is very informative and interesting. He is willing to sit down at chat about anything. He provides very good insight. I would suggest Iowa State University keep this professor around for as long as they can!

If you like to take classes from an arrogant prick then this is the class for you. This is the first teacher that I have had that truely thinks he is the king of the universe. All you management majors, this is a required class and he is the only teacher. GOOD LUCK

He is very smart and opinionated but knows the subject well and teaches it well. He is always fun to listen to and uses good material in his class. For those who have taken this class "HI, WHATS YOUR NAME?" __________ "HI, IM JEFFREY!" he does that all the time. Take this class, its fun.

VERY opinionated, thinks he is the best professor that has ever taught anywhere. Tests are difficult unless you like to think really creatively in a business class. I don't. He says "Is this making sense?" 3 or 4 times a minute in a sort of condescending way.
