Doctor Neuschatz is one of my favorite professors I have ever had! Highly recommend him. Go to PASS and you will be fine. He was always very gracious and helpful and kept class lively and interesting. Take as many classes with him as you can!

Comment:

This was a hard class due to the professor. When asking Dr.Neuschatz questions he was very unhelpful and didnt seem as though he was interested in answering questions. He talked very fast sometimes it was hard to keep up with him. The only positive thing about his class was the jokes he told.

Comment:

Walks around a lot which is distracting. The work is somewhat difficult unless you have taken the class before and are pretty good at math and word problems. When asked a question he acts as if he doesn't want to answer, so I didn't ask anymore. Maybe I should have asked Dr. Seeman so I would have gotten a better grade. I heard Dr.Seeman is better

Dr. Neuschatz is very intelligent and is a good psychological stats teacher. He didn't give many notes, in my opinion, but the notes and examples he went over in class were important. He gave a lot of optional homework and provided class time to do the problems and ask questions in class. The study guides he gave out before tests were very helpful.

My first impression was not positive, but he turned out to be ok. I worked hard and got an A. Loves the Red Sox. Gives the impression that he doesn't want to entertain questions, but he will. He really does walk around compulsively, staring at the floor. His TA / lab instructor is a minimum effort kind of girl, but you can get by.

He goes through things really fast but I think he is a an excellent professor over all. You have to actively pay attention and read the book. So far I have an A in the class so I don't know whatever one is whining about on here. His TA is awesome and extremely helpful. Plus he's great eye-candy! (HOT)!

Teaching style, not great. Talks really fast and walks around staring at the ground most of the time. Asks for questions but never really answers them. Quizzes are somewhat hard. You think you're gonna fail the class, but he gives MAD EXTRA CREDIT points. Plus, the final isn't that bad. Basically, not a good teacher; extra credit will pass you.

I saw on here that a lot of people said Neuschatz was cocky.I didn't really get that vibe from him. He seemed like a layed back cool professor. The only thing that I disliked about this class was that you did not get back a copy of your tests. You can go get them from and hand copy them from the TA but, who has time for that? Overall good teach.

Not a bad teacher at all teacher. But my problem with him is that he tended to play "favorites," spending more time in class answering the questions of just a few students that he seemed to like more than the rest. If you are quiet and don't spend your time garnering favor with professors, don't expect much attention from him in class.

Both he and his TA's are RUDE! Any time you ask them questions, they look at you like you're stupid & the communication sucks! No clear answer on tests, activity points, bonus points, etc--I have no clue where I stand in this class. Also, if you aren't into sports, you won't be a "favorite."

Sometimes when trying to talk to Dr. Neuschatz he gives off an aire of "why are you bothering me" and several times I had questions that he gave smarty-pants replies to rather than helpful answers. His grading (on papers) is a bit arbitrary. And, he speeds through projector slides, insisting that you listen, but complains if info not taken down.
