Her expectations are ridiculous. 11/10 would NOT recommend. The assignments are also extremely lengthy and it doesn't help that she is a very hard grader. I'd recommend taking another professor, you'll thank me later!

I've taken a lot of classes online and Jenn's was the best by far. Any theory class is a LOT of work but the class is structured well and she's very connected with every individual student every step of the way. I've never had such thorough and useful feedback on every single thing I submitted & it really helped me to learn and improve. Take her!!

WARNING DO NOT TAKE She's is a horrible instructor! A very hard grader! If you care about your GPA or if you are actually interested in the subject matter, choose a different instructor. Her instructions and feedback are vague. We ask her to clarify what she is looking for and she refused. She changes her grading criteria and due dates frequently

I recommend taking Jenn if you enjoy teaching yourself super complex ideas out of a book. She did not post one lecture or explanation of ANYTHING learned in her class on moodle. Everything I "learned" was from the book. She DID NOT teach or explain anything involving course material. Also, EXTREMELY hard to approach and very one-sided.

I wish I would have taken this class with any other professor. Maybe in person she is better but if you dont wanna damage your GPA do not I repeat DO NOT take her online class. So much work given in 8 weeks and instructions were mediocre at best when it came to assignments.

Jenn seems like she's a really cool lady but I didn't enjoy having her as a professor. The class was too dependent on attendance and missing class basically destroyed my grade. She's a tough grader, and isn't flexible with projects. Not easy to reach outside of class unless you're persistent. Very intelligent in her field.

Jenn is one of my favorite professors at OU. She's excellent at making things clear, letting you know what she expects, and making content interesting, fun, and memorable through connection to your own life. She's not a tough grader, this is college you need to show up(you're in COM show up and communicate), take notes, read and you'll do good.

The prof is great, cares deeply about the subject, her students. But the class itself, DO NOT take online. If you don't like writing papers or reading a lot, avoid this class. The material is useless in my opinion and not used in the real world which makes it hard to take interest and care about the material. Least enjoyable Com class ive taken.

Jenn is extremely passionate about COM150 and was always prepared for her lectures. Attending her class is important because there a lot of video examples and her lectures are always interesting. I took a 4 hr early am class and she was always ready to go at 8am so bring coffee. She is great at making the class feel comfortable in groups.

Jenn is a wonderful teacher that loves what she's teaching. Jenn is great at explaining the material and helps makes complex theories simple through class discussions. The papers were long but as long as you follow her instructions you'll get a good grade. No surprises on the tests, as long as you study you'll get a good grade.

Jenn is great. She has a wonderful, peppy personality. Took her for COM theory which I was terrified to take but she made it enjoyable and manageable. I loved class discussion. My one complaint is we had to write three really long papers. They weren't difficult, just long. Other than that, she's fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone!

Jenn is awesome! Have her for COM150 and definitely recommend taking her. Class is fun and lots of in class group activities. No tests except for 1 chapter quiz online that consists of 5 questions that you can retake until you get 100%. A little unclear on her paper requirements, though. Overall loved her!

Jenn Heisler is a great professor when it comes to her knowledge of the class material, and she lectures in a way that is easy for students to understand. Her fun and peppy disposition made class actually enjoyable and interactive. Although I've never had a professor grade harder in my college career, specially when it comes to essays.

Jenn is a fantastic professor. She knows her stuff and cares about every one of her students. Make sure to take good notes and to read the chapters, since the tests are a combination of the two. Make sure you are familiar with APA format and paper-writing as well. Put in the effort and you will do fine.

MUST take good notes. Attendance not mandatory but you get a grade boost if you never skip. She's AWESOME and LOVES this class. Gives you choices on assignments. Midterm and final multiple choice. Very friendly and answers emails promptly.

Jenn is friendly, approachable, and kind. However, she does take attendance, and missing more than 2 classes causes your grade to lower. Also, she is the hardest grader I have ever had. I had her for Public Speaking, she weighs heavily on the outline, and will critic everything. She's very picky and a tough grader!!!!

This teacher is by far the worst teacher i have ever had in my four years of college i took this class online and her instruction was vague and grading scale is ridiculous. I would have made the deans list but because of her class I missed it. If you value your GPA and sanity do not take her class!!!
