DO NOT TAKE HIM. He only grades 4 tests which none of the practice problems helped. Also he does not allow retests or revise like other teachers. very quiet and skips around in notes A LOT.

This professor is very intelligent. I believe he did a great job in teaching algebra. It is a very easy class but you have to show up to learn the material. Many people hardly showed up in class and blamed the professor for their failure which is not fair. He cares about the students and gives them an opportunity to ask questions and participate.

The class is basically self taught. He does examples on the board in class and leaves it up to you to learn the rest. Test are the only thing he grades ( there are 4) you on and the test days are not scheduled before hand. ONLY good thing about the teacher is that he replaces your lowest grade with your final. Avoid HIS class if possible. No ExCred

He,s boring, not always clear in his teaching, and if you want to do well in his class you basically have to teach yourself the material out of the book and go to SI sessions.

I thought this class was very easy. Even though he isn't extremely clear when teaching, its very easy to teach yourself out of the book and learn from the SI. There are 3 tests and one comprehensive final. He gives homework problems but they are not mandatory, which is good so you can do them at your own pace. If you have a question he'll answer.

I am not very good at math from the start, but this is a tough class. At the very beginning I started off very bad- I'm pretty sure most of the class failed the first test. However, by the second one I was making B's and I only have one left. There are 4 major tests and if you make a higher grade on the final, it will replace one grade. Tough class

Seriously the hardest class I've ever taken and the lack of interest from the professor didn't help. He rushes through the material and really only communicates with students that do well. He tends to ignore you if you don't understand. Takes points off of tests for random inconsistent reasons.

Good teacher I have never been good in math so I have had a hard time my biggest problem with the class is the other students if they didn't talk about everything but math during class I could hear the teacher. He always helps anytime asked just wish the students in the class weren't so disrespectful to the professor and those trying to learn.

Fleet is a very nice teacher. He tends to go very fast through sections. When he is explaining he words it in a way that is very difficult to understand even when the concept is simple. There are three tests, and one comprehensive final. Attendance not mandatory. There are no quizzes,only optional HW. Take him if you are good at teaching yourself.

Dr. Fleet is kind of a weird guy... he's EXTREMELY blunt and some people mistaken it as being rude. as for his teaching style, He will show you how to do a problem and if there are no questions he'll leave and stop teaching . So the best advice is to KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS and stay active in class! i made a B, btw he LOVES SPORTS *wink wink*

Mr.Fleet is great. His class was easy and he was easy to flow. He loved it when you did the work that he said you didn't have to do. He loves it when you ask him for help and will keep going over it until you understand it. Doesn't care if you come to class, but I say go. He is a little werid but not to the point where you wanted to run away.
