She is a very nice person and wiling to help in any way possible. Her test are horrible because they are textbook generated questions and she doesn't let you keep the test afterwards to study from. She offers no extra credit under no circumstance. Five grades only: 4 test and a paper/presentation. I do recommend her, just study for her test!

Great teacher!! Really enjoyed going to her class. Papers are super easy, got As on all of them. Lots of test questions from the book. Final consists of same questions from previous tests.

She is a great, funny professor. A little scatter-brained, but it's cool, sometimes. Her class was very simple. Lectures are directly from the book. I got a 99 on a paper in there. Very easy grader, I thought.

She is VERY slow at grading essays,and gets snippy when you ask her about them. Other than that she is wonderful, very knowledgeable of everything in psychology, and keeps class interesting! Make sure you read the text book, lots of questions from the test are in it.

Dr. Apperson is one of the best teachers in the Psych. department. She is very ORGANIZED! Her classes are basically a big conversation. She isn't jsut standing there lecturing, the class is giving her feedback (willingly!). LOVE Dr. Apperson!

Dr. Apperson is a great teacher. She knows her material. She knows how to teach it and if you need her help, she will be more than wiling. I wish I had been at Longwood for all my four years so I could have had her as a teacher more often. One of Longwood's best. Take her at every possible opportunity.
